Blog for Gerrit to GitHub Migration

Casey Cain

Hi, Team.

Brandon is happy to help us get a blog up for our Gerrit to GitHub Migration.  I'll let him explain in further detail, but I believe we need to help answer these initial questions.
  • Problem Statement: Explain why the TF decided to migrate from Gerrit to GitHub
  • Process: How did the community respond to the task? What was learned?
  • Benefit Statement: Post-migration, what will be different? What will be enhanced?
  • Call to Action: Provide links to the new Github, welcome feedback/participation
I think we can not yet quite answer some of these as the migration is not quite finished, but perhaps we can get some early feedback from the team on this thread.

Best,

By the time I replied with answers to all of those, I'd have written the whole blog post. ;-)

Brandon, do you have 15-30 minutes this week for a zoom where I can brain dump these answers at you? Wednesday between 1100-12:30 works for me, as does Thursday 1100-1300 (Pacific time). Anything in there work for you?
